This year, AOQ(SA) Inc has decided to take an approach that is considered to be more environmentally friendly, those who attended in 2004 would have received their proceedings in two volumes.
This year AOQ(SA) will again be publishing many papers, however we have decided that our delegates will receive these on a 2Gb flash stick. during the conference the delegates will have the opportunity to download photos from a number of sources as well as updates to presentations. As usual with any publications, the Authors give permission to use the publications but it should be noted that all of this material falls under the same copyright laws as if it were printed in a book or on a CD.
The added benefit is that at the end of the conference you may simply download the contents to your personal drive on your computer and use the device for your own purposes. Consider it a 40th Birthday gift from AOQ.

Qualcon is AOQ’s annual National Quality Conference.  It’s objective is to provide a forum for speakers and delegates from organisations with similar or related interests to exchange ideas and increase networking opportunities.

Focusing on practical and hands-on experience, topics at Qualcon 2008 will include TQM, Innovation, Environment, Business Excellence, Best Practice, Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI and the eight quality principles covered in ISO 9001:2000.

Industry based streams are planned for Information Technology, Training, Health, Automotive, Defence, Government, Service Industries and Manufacturing.

The program includes a conference dinner at which the AOQ Foley, Juran and Shilkin personal recognition awards will be presented.

Qualcon 2008 promises to provide an exciting and valuable three days to all quality and business professionals alike.

At the conclusion of Qualcon on the Thursday, we have organised six workshops that you should consider as part of your professional development. Be quick to secure your place as seats are limited.

So why not come and renew old acquaintances and make new ones.
